It's the 2023-2024 school year and Memorial Day School is off and running.
We have had a fantastic summer completing many projects to enhance the learning environment for our faculty, students, and parents.
The most obvious and most asked for, is the completion of the air-conditioning system to our beloved Matadome. Our teams that work out in the gym during Savannah's hot weather are enjoying the comforts of being cool. Fans coming in for volleyball games will also be excited to feel the difference.
The Matador Cafe also received some new air conditioning units just before school began. Thank you to Boaen Mechanical for their quick and efficient work at our school.
We have a number of new teachers to welcome this school year. Dale Mock takes on the role of Interim Athletic Director. Tyler Bromley has joined us teaching Middle School math and becoming our Middle School AD. Monique Loadholt moves up from daycare to teach Pre-K but she is no stranger to Memorial. Ms. Loadholt has been with our daycare program for over 25 years. Emma Reardon is not new but her last name is after she married Adam (Class of 2012). Sunshine Downs is with us and teaching our 3rd grade students while Pamela Magliulo is heading up our High School Science department.
Another great announcement is the return of our hot lunch program, for which parents can now make secure payments right here on our web site. Denise Carter and Denise Johnson will be serving up some great food Monday - Friday.
We are looking forward to an awesome year and we are so happy that you have decided to join our Memorial Day School family.
