Remote Learning Instructions

We recommend that all students choosing to learn remotely set up a designated learning environment that is free from distractions.

Collect all materials you will need for class and place them in your designated area.

Your device should allow you to be seen or heard.

Please make sure you are logged into your classes, via Google Classroom a minute or two before class. Attendance will be taken each day.

Remember Middle and High School students will follow their class schedule.  The times for each class are listed below.  Lower School teachers will provide a schedule for their remote learners.

First period: 8:00 - 8:50

Second period: 8:55 - 9:45

Third period: 9:50 - 10:40

Fourth period: 10:45 - 11:35

Lunch: 11:40 - 12:15

Fifth period: 12:20 - 1:10

Sixth period: 1:15 - 2:05

Seventh period: 2:10 - 3:00

Class Time:

You are required to be signed into each of your classes when each class begins. Students have the same responsibilities they would have if they were sitting in the classroom. Below you will find the instructions to remote into your classes.

  • Accept the invitations you receive to join your Google Classrooms.
  • Sign into Google Classroom with your school email address and password.
  • Click the meet link for your class.
  • Enjoy class and learn lots
  • Follow all directions given by your teachers for class assignments, videos, etc.
  • Log out of that class and log into your next class.

Grades and assignments will be posted on Renweb.  Please email your child’s teachers with any concerns or questions.  Remember, communication is key to success.  Your teachers will provide you with a syllabus outlining their expectations and classroom policies.

Student Integrity:

It is important to follow the same rules while students are at home learning as it is at school.   Students are expected to do their own work and when testing not utilize outside resources (including the internet, books, or other people).  School policies listed in our student handbook will be followed.
