As an alumnus, one way to contribute to Memorial Day School is by donating your time and expertise. Throughout the year, the Alumni Association can use help in various aspects of our events and programs. You can be of assistance in several ways, whether having lunch with students who are looking at various career fields, working on an Alumni Association Committee or other alumni related activities that may be developed over the year. Your contributions are invaluable. Please take a moment to let us know what types of volunteering opportunities would best fit your interests. As the need arises, we will contact you. here are some tidbits of information that I have received over the internet, from our website and through our alumni page on Facebook. Class of 1979 Bill Cameron lives in forsyth, georgia Class of 1980 Cindy Winter wishes she could have another reunion with everyone there. She is living in portland, oregon. Class of 1981 Traci Bedwell checked in with us from rome, georgia where she is a para professional in special education. Tracie has lived in the atlanta area for 17 years and is “dying to move home to savannah and never leave there again”. She is the mother of two, margaret (12) and elisabeth (10). Class of 1982 Jarrell Dickey still resides in savannah and is the public relations manager / info tech coordinator for the coastal center for developmental services John Bressler lives in albany, georgia where he is the marketing manager for oce Class of 1983 James “Bubba” Rowell lives in kenai, alaska with his wife stefanie. Bubba owns his own logistics company Peggy Finn is now Peggy Stafford and lives in Corryton, Tennessee.  She and her husband of 23 years have a married son and 13 year old daughter Karen WilliamsConnelly owns a texas hold em poker league in Savannah and invites all of her friends to check out her website at www.Series7pokerleague.Com Jill Goldstein fram is living in marietta, georgia Class of 1984 Mike Hemlepp lives in Winnsboro, SC where he has retired from his law practice and is now the executive director of the South Carolina trial lawyers association. He and his wife Betsy have two children, Will and Blair Tommy Blackwelder is living in Savannah where he is the mercedes benz shop foreman at Critz, inc. Tommy has recently remarried and now brags about his oldest son Zach (23), youngest son Dylan (18), his new daughter Samantha (8) and his wonderful wife Debby Nella Hardee Maxwell lives in Savannah with her two children Virginia (10) and Margaret (3) and husband John Maxwell. Nella graduated UGS in 1988 with a BS in marketing Brian O’neal is living in Rincon and loving that granddaughter of his. Class of 1985 Andy Wilson is stationed at quantico marine base in virginia and has been proudly serving our country for 17 years Elizabeth Rodgers Clarke is workig on her doctorate in special education while working at islands high school in savannah. Soon-to-be Dr. Clarke lives in Savannah with her husband Wyatt and their children Leighton, Lucy and Lillian. Class of 1986 Mimi Witherington Allen is living in Rifle, Colorado where she is a middle school teacher. Mimi returns to Savannah quite often to visit her friends and relatives. Class of 1987 Jimmy Rose lives in Woodstock, GA and is celebrating 12 years with ihealth technologies, inc , a cost-containment company providing solutions to mid to large health insurers all over the united states. Jimmy has an 8 year old daughter, Annie and twin sons Michael and Joey who are 19 Lacy Dewitt Cabrera is teaching spanish at Valdosta middle school and will be getting her master’s degree in foreign language education.  She and her husband have 3 boys Clay (13), Micah (11) and Elias (9) Lacey Roberson Godec is finishing up her degree in psychology and lives in Parkton, NC Gwen Cawley Jenkins owns two businesses in Rincon, Georgia and earned her MBA in 2009. She brags about her two children Morgan (15) and Sammy (10) Jan Helmly is an accountant in Savannah Francisco Manrique is living in Roswell, Georgia and loves to hear from his alum friends. Class of 1988 Travis Wolf is living in Alpharetta, GA with his wife and 3 daughters Matt Wigley has been in full time ministry for 12 years and is currently living in waynesboro, georgia where he and his wife rebecca are proud of their two children haley savannah (13 years) and brett matthew (10 years) Barbara maddox is living in durham, nc Richard “richie” morris is living in savannah Class of 1989 Christine twaddle brazier now lives in little elm, texas with her husband of 16 years. They have a son matthew (15) and a daughter megan (10) Class of 1990 Robb morrow has been teaching physical science in camden county for 14 years and has two daughters (maegan and makayla). Robb will soon be robb morrow, phd. Misty johnson scribner has 3 children in ages ranging from 10 to 15 and is finishing up her degree for middle school education. Misty continues to be a resident of savannah Lori hood murrell is living in savannah where has been working for a children’s dentist for 19 years. She and her husband steve have 3 children, megan (18); sydney (8) and jacob (6). Lori also enjoys being a girl scout leader. Class of 1991 Class of 1992 Teri mckendree is now teri von waldner and living in centerville, ga with her husband greg and their children samantha (6 yrs) and casey (1 yr). Teri is a senior financial analyst with the medical center of central georgia Cheryl hood armstrong is living in pooler with her husband david. Cheryl is an occupational therapist working at memorial health university medical center Jeremy estes has been making airplanes at gulfstream in savannah for 11 years, living in guyton, georgia and has a 9 year old daughter and a 5 year old son Teri von waldner lives in centerville, georgia Mark dewitt is president / ceo of dewitt mortgage in savannah – atlanta – charleston. Class of 1993 Danielle wolf-eliasson lives in ponte vedra beach, florida with her son ethan (2 years old) and husband Melinda mobley gale managers the loft and lives in bloomingdale with her husband gary and their two children dylan (11) and graysen (9) Class of 1994 Jonathan hathaway graduated from georgia southern in 1999 with a bs in sports management. He is working with the georgia farm bureau insuance company in the effingham office. Jonathan and his wife live in guyton with their 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 7 Jason adams is living in snellville, ga with his wife christine and their 3 children katie (11), lindsey (9) and zach (2) Allison myrick jolley is living in mcdonough, georgia Class of 1995 Jeremy hendrix is an sql and support specialist living in port wentworth, georgia Charlie parker earned his bs in chemistry with a minor in art from armstrong and now lives in lawrenceville, georgia. Charlie tells us he has a cat Class of 1996 Meredith jesse is now meredith mitchell and living in simpsonville, sc Brian sussman has been serving our country in the u.S. Navy for 10 years and is currently stationed in san diego, california about the navy’s newest destroyer, wayne e. Meyer ddg108. Brian is proud of his 3 year old daughter madison nicole Brigitte youmans lawlor is a registered nurse at the georgia center for reproductive medicine living in savannah. Brigitte has been married for 3 years and has a beautiful 4 month old boy Class of 1997 Aaron kreh maintains his home in savannah Class of 1998 Bobby lee is living in hardeeville, sc. He is a professional engineer / project manager with thomas & hutton Class of 1999 Caro barrett is now caro morrison and lives in savannah with her husband mike and their 5 year old daughter mya Brittany hall is living in grover beach, California Jessica sample jones is a supervisor at memorial hospital while also a lpn student. She is the mother of two beautiful girls ages 10 and 8. Class of 2000 Bo Dudley hasn’t gone far since graduating from MDS.  Bo is still “protecting” Michael Thompson and helping him coach the Blue Thunder football team to three consecutive trips to the GISA State Football Championship winning back-t0-back titles in 2008 and 2009.  Bo is married to the wonderful Ashley and they have an adorable son Philip.  Bo’s momma has gone far either as Sheila Dudley-Maner is a very active member of our school board and continues her dedication to the 1/75th Ranger Battalion at Hunter Army Airfield. Class of 2001 Thomas hurst is a corrections officer and is the proud poppa of a 4 year old son and a 1 month old daughter. Thomas is living in garden city. Class of 2002 Jill sussman earned her masters degree and has been teaching 3rd grade in the chatham county school system for 3 years. She is living in pooler, georgia and will be coaching the matador cheerleaders during the 2010-2011 school year Class of 2003 Matt o’neal has been working as an emt and fire fighter and now owns his own landscape company. You might get to catch matt’s smiling face when robert redford’s “the conspirator” movie hits the big screen……He won a role in the locally filmed picture. Hollie bigbie gatewood lives with her husband and 1 year old daughter hayden in guyton, georgia Artur surov, our 07′ finnish exchange student graduated from st. Joseph’s university in 2007. Artur workd for deloitte finland as an analyst and for the past two years as project manager at technopolis. He has been serving as the coach of the puhu juniorit in the city of vantaa, finland for three years Class of 2004 Class of 2005 Emily brigdon is now emily rehse and living in thunderbolt, georgia with her husband john after several years living wherever the united states marine corps sent them Randi taylor graduated from valdosta state in 2009 with a bachelor’s in sociology. She is working on her master’s degree in speech language pathology Anna goldberg lockwood completed her undergraduate work at armstrong atlantic and has been accepted into the pharmacy school at south university and will graduate in 2012 with a doctor of pharmacy degree. Anna is married and has a 3 year old son named benjy Class of 2006 Michell ray mccurry will be graduating from the university of south carolina this year with a bachelors degree in business management. She is now living in guyton, georgia with her husband of almost a year Class of 2007 Emily dickinson is living in new orleans, louisiana where she will be graduating from tulane university and hopefully returning to savannah William joseph sigman is still living in savannah and visits memorial day often Class of 2008 Courtney squibb remains a resident of savannah where she enjoys managing a “show barn” and training horses Emma murray is studying nursing at armstrong atlantic state university in savannah and tells us how much she misses memorial day school Morgan taylor is studying to be an english teacher at vadosta state college Class of 2009 Ray turner is a student at georgia southern Allison hall has been attending georgia southern and is pursuing a transfer to georgia state.
