Admissions

General Information

Thank you for your interest in Memorial Day School ! Since you have expressed an interest in Memorial, it is obvious that you take your child’s education seriously. Indeed, this placement is one of the most important decisions you will make this year. We consider it a privilege and joy to present our school to you though the Admissions Office.

Typically, the first official contact with MDS is through the Admissions Office. We invite every family to call (912- 352-4535) or request for an information packet to be sent to you. After receiving and looking over the packet, we ask you to call and make an appointment to tour the school. This is also your time to ask any questions you have that may not be covered in the information packet, or to ask specific questions pertaining to your student or family.

The Admissions Office is happy to set up visitation for prospective students or their parents who wish to visit in the classrooms for 20 minutes, an hour, half day or all day. This allows an opportunity to get a close up view of a typical day at MDS. Those students visiting in the middle and upper school would “shadow” one of our students during a normal school day.

Memorial Day School admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Memorial Day School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
